What is it?
This technique consists in removing the oocyte’s first polar body and analysing the number of chromosomes it contains.
It is performed in preparation for the performance of Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnostics (PDG).
A biopsy is the collection of a small sample from a cell or tissue in order to perform a specific analysis on it.
