Orchidopexy

It is a surgical procedure aimed at moving an undescended testicle (usually located in the groin area) into the scrotum and permanently fix it there.

In case of undescended testicles, spermatogenesis in the affected testicle is altered, which increases the risk of neoplastic transformation.
